Care Instructions cork yoga mat

Given the high cork drag, with a little care and simple precautions, your yoga mat last very long. Always roll it with the side of the outside cork, to prevent that, in the long run, to fracture (For the same reason it is important not to bend it).

Cork is antimicrobial, meaning you don’t need harmful chemicals. Use organic soap and water for major stains. Do not leave it exposed to sunlight or in hot, dry places (like the car in the summer or on a heater) for long periods of time.

The side of cork is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-microbial, in case of frequent use we recommend to clean it at least once a week using a mild detergent or our reclean to prevent skin oils from settling and create dark stains difficult to remove! In case of use for practices such as Hot Yoga or Bikram Yoga or in case of heavy perspiration, it is recommended to clean it after each practice. Let it dry in a ventilated place, not in direct sunlight. 

TIP

For those who have very dry hands and feet that tend to sweat just might be a bit slippery. We therefore recommend, before practice, try to spray them with a little of the areas where water will rest, to have more grip.
